Melma contemplates the horrid and obscene and speaks of an existential condition. According to Nico Vascellari "Art is fishing with bare hands" in which you have to immerse yourself with your hands up to your entire body, in search of shapes that are not distinguishable, but which you must necessarily trust. According to the artist, we must dig inside ourselves in search of something forgotten but not destroyed. Slime, raises a series of questions about the relationship between the animal kingdom and humans. The title of the exhibition, Slime, recalls something negative, repellent, dirty. Slime, in fact, means "earth soaked in water", it is therefore synonymous with mud, and in its figurative sense it takes on the sense of an equivocal and unpleasant situation, of a corrupt environment.
